Following fat graft procedures, you will go home on the same day with a friend or family member. If the fat grafts are performed as an isolated procedure under local anesthesia, Dr. Lille suggests taking four to five days before returning to work. Swelling is very common after fat transfer, and often resolves after two weeks; however it may take up to 12 weeks for the final results of the fat graft procedure to be evident. Light aerobic activity (elliptical, walking, bicycle) may be resumed as early as 1 week following fat grafts, and more strenuous activity is begun at two to three weeks.

Botox is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation.

Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion and dermaplaning help to “refinish” the skin’s top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping. The treatments soften the sharp edges of surface irregularities, giving the skin a smoother appearance. Dermabrasion is most often used to improve the look of facial skin left scarred by accidents or previous surgery, or to smooth out fine facial wrinkles, such as those around the mouth. It’s also sometimes used to remove the pre-cancerous growths called keratoses.

Injectable Fillers

Types of Injectable Fillers:

Collagen

• A natural protein that supports the skin. Injectable collagen formulas derived from human dermis include Cosmoderm(r) or Cosmoplast(r). Zyderm(r) and Zyplast(r) are forms of bovine collagen that, unlike human derived collagen, require prior allergy testing. The results may last 2 to 4 months.

Hyaluronic Acid

• A natural substance found in our bodies. It is well suited to plump thin lips and fill facial creases such as nasolabial folds. It may also be appropriate for some surface wrinkles and concave scars. The results may last 6 months or longer.

Hydroxylapatite

• A mineral-like compound found naturally in human bones, suspended in a gel-like formulation. It is the heaviest of facial fillers and is recommended to fill deeper creases such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines and frown lines, as well as to enhance fullness of the cheeks and other facial contours.

Human fat

• Harvested from your own body, fat can be reinjected to enhance facial fullness, fill deep creases and to build up shallow contours. Fat injection requires a more extensive procedure than other injectable fillers because it uses liposuction techniques to extract the fat prior to injection.

PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate)

• PMMA fillers contain 20% tiny PMMA microspheres suspended in 80% purified collagen gel. An FDA-approved PMMA filler is recommended for the correction of facial wrinkles known as smile lines.

Skin Rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation procedures can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles of the entire face, or those that develop in specific regions of the face, such as the upper lip and around the eyes. They are also used to resurface the skin to treat pigmentation disorders, such as sun and age spots and can also improve the appearance of acne scars as well as other skin conditions.

Dr. Lille uses Vaser Liposelection, the most advanced in ultrasonic technology. It targets only the fat cells and does not injure other tissue components below the skin. The Vaser is very useful in men who have more fibrous strands below the skin where fat cells can hide. The Vaser liquefies the hard to get to fat and helps tighten the under surface of the skin from the heat generated by the Vaser. Recovery is fast, anywhere from three to five days before returning to work, and you can work out as soon as one to two weeks. Compression garments are worn and the surgery is definitive.

Elevating and dissecting large facial skin flaps in full facelifts increases bleeding, swelling and bruising which prolongs recovery. Conservative approaches using a lateral-pinch lower eyelid lift can avoid the eye-shape changing results of the more aggressive lower eyelid surgeries.

The process of gynecomastia involves the removal of male breast tissue and the reduction of fatty tissue around the glandular area of the areola (nipple complex). From the onset of contacting Dr. Lille’s office, I have been treated exceptionally. His staff is very friendly and helpful, even down to locating his office. Disagree with the comments listed by another person within this review. While a little difficult to find his office, his receptionist stayed on the line with me and talked me through directions to his office. Yes, his office is small buy by no means a dump. I appreciate the fact that Dr Lille clearly does not use his office as a marketing ploy to get patients. I’m in the medical field myself and office space means very little other than the fact that my costs for services will be greater to cover the physician’s overhead. Dr. Lille’s bedside manner was outstanding. On my first visit, I was there 2 hours. He spent almost an hour meeting with me, getting to know me and my needs. My sister was with me and he was gracious to answer her questions related to my interests in surgery. Good luck in getting other physicians to do this! I have been back since for Botox services, again he spent an extensive amount of time with me and made it a point to make sure I was comfortable. After my appointment he asked that I come back and follow up to insure I was happy with the results of his work. NO ONE- let me repeat NO ONE does this I the industry for Botox.
